How to change the ANT build status manuelly?

I am writing a build environment verification. If certain condition
not meet, I want to show the ANT build fails.

How can I do that?

I found an "ErrorTask" custom ant task on koders that basically does what
you want it to do:

Thanks. Actually I realized that the <fail> task in the ant works fine
for me too. And it is in the ant core task.
