Hi friends,

Here i have a requirement that I need to list out the
entire systems connected to a network with their name and IP address.
Can any body send a sample code or details like which package can be
used for that one in java networking..

thanks in advance..

If you use SNMP, perhaps http://www.snmp4j.org/ might be a choice.
If not, you might want a go at http://jcifs.samba.org/ which uses CIFS

This is starting to be a popular question. Suddenly people are burning with
the need to have Java identify their network nodes.

For those with the question it means that if you search these newsgroups you
might find some useful info. For the rest of us it might seem odd that this
is becoming such a popular requirement.
