How to start learning C?

Hi, Java is my first programming language, and well, at this momento,
it's the only language i know, and sure, a little of html, php, etc... too.

how do you guys recommend me to do? how to start C? any good tutorial?
i would like some tutorial with exercise. because i like linux so much,
i want to learn C! thx

Get a copy of "The C Programming Language, Second Edition" by Kernighan &
Ritchie.

Make sure it is the 2nd edition. In my opinion it is more than worth the
cost.

Also bookmark http://c-faq.com/ and when you have a question about C
that you cannot answer from K&R go there first. If you cannot find, or
find but cannot understand, what K&R and the FAQ say then ask here and
people will help.

thank you very much! i have the first edition ... but i found that it's
not so useful. but i just get the 2nd edition from library of school, so
will start to learn it.

I strongly suggest you keep your copy of the 1st edition and look after
it. It is interesting from a history perspective and possibly enough
people will not look after there copies for it to become valuable one day.

It is!
and possibly enough people will not look after
there copies for it to become valuable one day.

After I lost my copy of K&R2, I bought another one.
After I found my lost copy of K&R2, I traded it for a K&R.
