Moving to new form of usenet ideas?

Be careful, or you'll give yourself a hernia while trying to reach
that high.

I find it amusing that it took a real twit like the ZickTard to cause
you to compliment me. :-]

I can think of a couple of much more interesting plays on "Lester
Zick."

Oh gee, professor, not really? And what about usenet postings where
servers have some difficulty with proportional spacing, where a choice
has to be made between ragged paragraphs and colloquial punctuation?
Next time your skirts get in a tizzy, complain to the servers not moi.

Utter bullshit.

I know. But it's the best I could do at your level.

Has the chairman of the boring been hoist by his own 'tard? ;-)

Cheers!

He brings it up in every sig file attached to every post. You're being
disingenuous which I suppose is about the most we can expect from you.

Do you always get this upset at sig files? Perhaps you shouldn't read
them. ...or grow some skin. A brain wouldn't hurt either.
You really are incredibly stupid. I offer disclaimers and explain the
disclaimers and you go right on insisting that I'm dissing Michael's
military service. Military partisanship has no bearing on the course
of science, truth, or issues of

Neither do you, so what's your excuse for living?
public censorship.

The only one attempting to "censor" anyone here is you. You don't
like Michael's sig, so berate his service to get his sig removed.
That looks pretty childish to everyone here. Fruitless and childish.

I have an idea. Just delete sci.math from the alist and then you can
all get back on your hobby horses and continue to study Ohm's law and
Mho's law and Mike the Martyr's patriotism without my sayso.

*Your* say-so?! Who is attempting censorship now? You're a
friggin' panty-waisted hypocritical moron.

Tell me, how much work is it to be dumber than a donkey?

Two spaces are recommended in non-proportional fonts like Courier New,
a legacy from typewriter days. Some proportional fonts used in modern
computers adjust the location of the period at the end of a sentence
so that two spaces are not required to provide a distinctive space
between sentences.
Exactly.

I still use two spaces anyway.
I do too, but Frame bitches so I try to shift to one when writing
documents. When I do the final check I end up hitting 'y' all the
way through.

Credit where credit is due. Sick has no credit, and is socially
bankrupt. There's still hope for you. ;-)

Hmm, I didn't take it as a compliment, for either. Kinda like,
"you're lower than a slug's lower intestine."

Hoist with his own petard? Hard to make a serious point when people
are laughing.

No, that is _not_ why you're having a hard time, though everyone is
laughing at you.

Don't ask me, I never wrote that. Looks as Lester chimed in.
Go talk to him.

I didn't say you did. Lester the molester snipped your words but
left your attribution.

Several of those photos are crooked, because the only clear spot I
could find was contoured for drainage. I had to keep my cane in my left
hand, leaving me with one free hand for the camera & tripod. I am
trying to rebuild a used power chair, and build a joystick controlled
telescoping mast and camera mount to be able to take better pictures.

You should be able to photoshop the list out of those pictures pretty
easily. The first one is a nice shot.

Agreed. Festus sick has posted it several times.

Well, Frame is broken, not you. If had bought a tool that was that
messed up the vendor would sure be hearing from me. (MS does hear
from me on a regular basis, not that they pay any attention.)

Nope. There should only be one space after a '.' when using
proportional fonts in a word processor. The WB takes care of the
additional whitespace needed. Two '.'s make the whitespace too
large. I have the bad habit of using two because most tools aren't
as smart and I tend to use fixed pitch fonts for most of what I do.
