Putting community into the clc-wiki

Hello,

The clc wiki (at <http://clc-wiki.net>) has been pretty inactive for
years now. It was started as a community project - would anyone like to
put some community back into it?

(Formerly going by "Netocrat". I've been maintaining the wiki's software
and administering it over the years but if it would help this project in
any way, I will gladly give up that role, and any other association with
the wiki, including the domain which currently is registered in my name
- whatever it takes to get the clc community and especially the regulars
involved in the wiki. Also, FYI: Mark "Flash" Gordon hosts the wiki - I
haven't consulted him about this post)

I doubt we've really got the numbers to sustain a Wiki. Flash Gordon hasn't
posed here for a long while.
There's also a question about what it should contain. There's already a FAQ,
maintained by Steve Summit (also no longer active). He publishes it as a book
in hard copy. There's are plenty of C primers in the net, and the newsgroup
doesn't have any control over the C standard itself, which is ISO/ANSI.

Thank you for your response, Malcolm. Judging by your response, and by
the lack of response from others, there doesn't seem to be much interest
in the wiki. I would then suggest that it be shut down, except that the
K&R2 solutions section of the site, seeded from Richard Heathfield's
static site, is quite popular, and, in my view, worthwhile continuing -
plus a few other pages (e.g. <http://clc-wiki.net/wiki/intro_to_clc> and
<http://clc-wiki.net/wiki/c_standard>, which might be out of date by
now) get a fair few hits and have been linked to from elsewhere, and it
would seem to be a shame to lose them. Perhaps the wiki should be
disassociated from clc, and continue as minimally as possible under a
new, distinct, name? What do you think?
