And you can?
1) IE (I think we agree that this is the most widely used browser?) by
default is _not_ maximised. The user has to specifically set it to be
maximised. So if the user doesn't change their browser window size at
all, it is not maximised (regardless of screen resolution).
2) Logically, the higher the resolution, the less likely it is that the
window will be maximised.
3) There are a high proportion of people here with high screen
resolutions. From seeing what they post, a lot of them don't have their
browsers maximised. We can do a poll if you like.

OK, thanks for that clarification. No, I'm not opposed to Flash in
itself - it can be a very powerful tool - but not for an entire site.
