Example of creating a component to be used like the datagrid

Hi there.

Anyone have a link to a good article about "how to create a component,
that would work in the same way as eg. the datagrid".

What I want to do, is to create a .dll file that I can install into a
asp.net project and thereby reusing the component. Just as the
datagrid - dragging the component into the enviroment add settings
etc.

Hope it makes sence and one you knowes about a great article.
