I have very good experience as mechanical engineer. In school I started programming on C language. I wrote some programs, including map like google maps, post processor for 4 axis cnc machine, application for stock market (WinAPI) and other programs. I also wrote some programs for Microchip controllers.
Now I want to find work as software engineer. I need good portfolio. I have some free time.
Please tell me, what programs should I write to make good portfolio and to find job as software engineer.
