How to receive SMS on J2ME?

Hi everyone! I am working on Eclipse 3.1 and testing communicationm
between SMS and J2ME. Is it possible to receive SMS on J2ME?

Standard J2ME does not provide this functionality for security reasons.
However, some manufacturers include SMS functionality in their own APIs. I'm
not really sure which ones though.

Receive SMS via PC

Hi All,
I am developing a MIDlet for sending and receiving SMS using GSM Modem.
I can successfully send the message from the PC to the mobile but the problem is receiving the reply SMS to PC.

Can any one help me out for completing this task?

J2ME not listening to the sms receive,Recieve sms without port

I am doing J2ME application to send and receive sms, but there is a problem while receiving the sms....the message listener doesn't listen to the incoming sms...incoming sms directly goes to the mobile inbox instead of coming to applications, I have set my port number as 5000.....Please give any solutions to receive the sms without port number[From any sms should come to the application]....!
