my very first flash on a site

You know, come to think of it, I think I actually have flash 4 enabled
for moz. Perhaps it tries to load it but can't because the version is
incompatible.

I have found that in the past. If an older version of Flash is
installed, you get a blank space. Not sure whether the fault lies with
Mozilla or Macromedia...

Disco, if I disable Flash, the image does appear in Mozilla (using
1.7rc1). :)

Thanks. Interesting, as this is what is happening to me. I have the
following results on my machine...

IE 5.5 1 flash
IE 5.5 2 flash
NN 4.79 1 blank page
NN 4.79 2 blank page
NN 7.02 1 image
NN 7.02 2 image
NN 7.1 1 image
NN 7.1 2 flash
Firebird 0.7 1 image
Firebird 0.7 2 white square
Firebird 0.8 1 image
Firebird 0.8 2 white square
Mozilla 1.4 1 image
Mozilla 1.4 2 white square
Mozilla 1.5 1 image
Mozilla 1.5 2 white square
Mozilla 1.6 1 image
Mozilla 1.6 2 white square
Opera 7.11 1 flash
Opera 7.11 2 flash
Opera 7.23 1 flash
Opera 7.23 2 flash
Opera 7.50 1 flash
Opera 7.50 2 flash

.... which perhaps confirms your comments regarding having multiple versions
installed.

I would really like to get this sussed out. I am now going to try to
convert this flash to an animated gif file. The file may be bigger, but at
least it will be more portable.

Thanks
