ASPNETMERGE warning 'Cannot find any assemblies that can be merged'

I recently upgraded a Web Site project to the new 'Web Application'
project (Beta V2 Preview) and also using the preview deployment
project. Everything is working fine, but I am getting the following
warning when running msbuild.

ASPNETMERGE : warning 1013: Cannot find any assemblies that can be
merged in the application bin folder.

As I mentioned, everything is working fine, but I find this warning a
bit disconcerting. Can anyone elaborate on this?
