You "like" the underlining and you like the boxes and that's it?
IMO, you need a better perspective of the

Because I think that it looks ok.

Do you understand what I am saying about the function, the
working importance of the list, the use that the user will make
of it, the difference between trafficable navigation links and
"set once only" type of links. Do you at all pause to think
there may be something relevant in this to the way it should
look, the amount of space it should take up and the place it
should be? That's it, you just "like it"?
At the
most, a simple text list will do (perhaps a heading to it to
draw attention), taking up less space. Consider even the most
basic JavaScript dropdown boxes seen all over for choosing a
country or postcode or whatever on so many sites for "use
rarely
or just once" list of links).

I do not like JavaScript because it makes users more vulnerable
as far as I
understand.

Doubt if anyone who already had it turned on (most everyone)
would be more vulnerable because *you* include a snippet or two?
Why not leave that decision to them? You can do what I said and
have an alternative link to a page for choosing the language for
those very few without it enabled. Actually, I am not
particularly recommending JS anyway. Just a thought. Your
objection sounds unconvincing to me and, under the spell, I
reply to it.

Luigi, would you do me at least a little favour: tell me the
password and the address of the server that you host your site
on, I want to play about a bit... Do you think I would ask you
if I could avoid it? I have an uncontrollable need to get at it
and modify a few things... I understand now what it was like to
be Jesus as he swept through the temple to throw out the money
changers... It will be like that and you will be appreciative in
the end...

Good to know. NSW lies on the border with Victoria, doesn´t it?

It is a most unusual and refreshing way of seeing it!

I do not know whether there are such classes in Italy but I live in Sweden.

Luigi, you have done it again! You have been you! This is an absolute gem.
If I were to say - which I am definitely not doing because it would be far
too obvious - "OK then, what about classes in Sweden?" what would you say?

And I answer that the suggestion is dismissed.

I have thought about taking some classes but I did not find a proper one
near here where I could go to.
Besides, I had rather gone into a course for Chinese at the moment but there
were many people who wanted to do that so I am learning it myself..

Since I deal with many clients in Hong Kong and China and Taiwan I thought
it might be a good idea to learn some Chinese (either flavour).

My Hong Kong distributor told me *not* to. "Westerners", not growing up with
the tonal aspects of Asian languages, and trying to learn Chinese,
invariably learn just enough to insult their listeners.

Change the tone of a few "words" and you are not buying a dim sim, you are
suggesting the dim sim sellers parents were not married at the time of his
conception:)

Cheers
Richard.

Considering dorayme is an Australian I am pretty sure she knows where
Tasmania is :)

I have even *been* there. It was shut though.

As far as I know Chinese has 4 tones. It can be easy to use the wrong one.
But I think it is good to learn Chinese, anyway. I have learnt it for
several years but slowly.

Call you? How? Anyway, no!

(A few months ago I was in no state to call anyone. I was doing
my annual pub fight crawl. It is an Australian tradition. You go
into some pub or other and pick fights. The aim is to stir
things up and make like a wild west bar room brawl with everyone
against everyone. I can't tell how much fun it is.)
